The Alaska Department of Education & Early Development has developed web-based, interactive training courses to assist educators in complying with all of the nine (9) state and federal laws requiring district staff training.

eLearning Information

Registration

Registration is required.

Registration is open to Alaska School District Personnel and other Alaska Residents on a case-by-case basis.

All registration requests are subject to EED approval. The eLearning staff will respond to registration requests within 24 hours of receipt or on the next business day. The eLearning staff are available to register users between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. M-F, except on state recognized holidays. Requests received after 4 p.m. or on weekends will be responded to on the next business day.

Learners only need to register for an account once. Learners whose accounts have been inactive for an extended period may need to contact the eLearning staff at elearning@alaska.gov in order to reactivate their accounts.

Alaska Resident (non-school district) learners have access to the following eLearning Courses:

Certificate
of Completion

If you complete 100% of the course content for a course, you will be able to print your certificate of completion from your eLearning account. Please print certificates for your professional development records. 

To print completion certificate:

Once a course has been completed and exited, the course catalog page should refresh and show that the course has been 100% completed. Click the "Print Certificate" button located in the top right corner of the screen to load the certificate.

To access certificates for previously completed courses, click on the course reports option located under “My eLearning” on the home tab.

Technical Support
  1. Turn off your pop-up blockers
  2. Clear cookies and temporary internet files
  3. Logout and Login again
  4. View the Workstation Requirements sheet
  5. Please call 1-907-465-8717 if you still encounter system errors.

Technical support is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. M-F, except on state recognized holidays. The eLearning staff will respond to emailed requests within 24 hours of receipt or on the next business day.


Reports School Districts can request a summary report listing all educators who have completed the courses for their district files to document compliance with mandated training requirements, please email elearning@alaska.gov.

Cost

The eLearning courses are FREE to Alaska school districts. There are also a few courses which are free to Alaska residents.
