The Department of Education & Early Development has developed web-based,
interactive training courses for educators on special education topics.
The Supporting Positive Student Behavior eLearning course
offer educators the opportunity to:
- Help students develop positive self esteem
- Become familiar with the steps surrounding an IEP
- Learn how to use the IEP information
- Appreciate the positive outcomes of a school wide positive behavior
support program
Supporting Positive Student Behavior includes four modules:
- Helping Students Develop Positive Self Esteem
- Functional Behavior Assessment
- Behavior Intervention Plan
- Positive Behavior Support: A School-Wide Model
