The Alaska Department of Educational and Early Development (EED) has developed this five-year educational technology plan based on the recommendations of a taskforce representing education stakeholders throughout the state. The Alaska State Educational Technology Plan provides a blueprint to guide future state and local technology planning. The Ed Tech program primary goal is to improve student academic achievement through the use of technology in elementary schools and secondary schools.
